The Scrapbooking and Stamping Extravaganzas are brought to you by
Brought to you by:
Jan DuRall, owner of Scrap 'N Dream, and Memory Works Consultant
and
Julie Wilson, TLC and Close To My Heart consultant
We held Classes from : 8:00 A.M. to 5: 30 P.M.
The class descriptions below are from the 2005 Fall Scrapbooking and Stamping Extravaganza
and the pictures are from the February
2007
"Beat The Winter Blues " Scrapbooking and Stamping Extravaganza
8:00 A.M. -
9:30 A.M. - Memories in 3D:
Jan and Julie worked as a team to teach this double
page layout for your holiday memories. We used foam
board on one side of this layout to create a 3D effect. On the foam
side we cut "niches" for some favorite holiday memorabilia. Then the
other side complimented this intriguing design. The Daisy D papers
really caught everyone's attention.

9:45 A.M. - 10:45 A.M. - Seasonal Favorite
Cards:
Those who joined Julie for this
class created 2 fall and 2 winter themed cards. These cards
incorporated both Close To My Heart and Top Line Creation products.
One card, was be a winter photo frame. Embellishment
and stenciling techniques were employed in this class.
11:00
A.M. - 12:00 P.M. - Textures of Autumn:
Jan taught
this double spread, perfect for your Autumn photos. The layout
incorporated Leaving Prints papers, real leaves, wire, beads, faux
seals, and torn paper
techniques. This layout had you feeling the different textures
which autumn brings to us. There was even be a bonus project
included in the class kit! The easy card was something that could be completed at home in minutes using
techniques covered in class and was a perfect thank-you note for
your Thanksgiving Hostess, or to send your Thanksgiving greetings.
12:00
P.M. - 1:00 P.M. - LUNCH
1:00
P.M. - 2:15 P.M. - TagRRiFIC III:
A favorite class of Jan's!!
In this class we made a fall tag using rubber stamps. We also
made a "Give Thanks" tag book using walnut ink, torn and
distressed papers, and lots of embellishments. Jan finished this
class with another tag named "Assembly Required", can you guess which
season this tag was for? This class was tons of fun and provided
some TagRRiFIC new ideas for
the coming fall season.

2:30
P.M. - 3:30 P.M. - A Fall With Texture:
Julie led this class and covered a double page fall layout
which was a Top Line Creations project. Using pre-printed vellum,
fabric, and aging the layout pieces with a crackled finish, you
created a beautiful layout for your favorite fall pictures.

3:30
P.M. - 3:45 P.M. - COOKIE BREAK
3:45
P.M. - 5:30 P.M. - Canned Memories:
In this class, Jan led you in creating a mini album that would be
storde in a tin that we "whitewashed" and stamped. The album
contained many different paper techniques and oodles of
embellishments, and incorporated some of the new Leaving Prints
winter products. Perfect when finished and tied with a red
gingham
bow. This project made a wonderful gift, with or without photos.
Then in the evening from 6:00 P.M. -
